Since 1989, the Grosse Ile Rowing Club has been committed to improving our community through growing the sport of rowing.

The Grosse Ile Rowing Club was formed as the primary booster organization for the Grosse Ile High School Rowing Team.

The Grosse Ile Rowing Cub is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and a USRowing member club.  Through the generous support of the Grosse Ile community and tireless volunteers, the GIRC provides equipment and financial and logistical support for the Grosse Ile High School rowing program.  

With the planned construction of a boathouse and training facility on Grosse Ile, the GIRC will soon offer a variety of rowing programs for youth and adult rowers.  

Whether you are an experienced rower or brand new to the sport, the Grosse Ile Rowing Club welcomes you.
