WHAT IS PRACTICE LIKE?
The rowing team practices at Grosse Ile Middle School and at the Wyandotte Boat Club. Practices are are once per day, between 1-2 hours. When we’re unable to row on the water, we use indoor rowing machines called ergs (short for ergometer) and lift weights. The Wyandotte Boat Club also has indoor rowing tanks.
When on the water, practices are a combination of drills to improve technique and workouts of varying lengths and intensities.
