Start the 2024 rowing season by joining the cabin fever inflicted rowers of the mid-west  and accepting the challenge of a day of island fun and competition on Concept 2  ergometers. Events will be categorized by gender, weight, age and ability.

We are excited to announce that the GI Rowing Alumni Row is back!

Please join us on Saturday, October 15 from 9-11 am at the Wyandotte Boat Club to see old friends and teammates, tell some stories and take a few strokes.

After the row, we will be christening our new-ish 4+, the Legacy, which was purchased partially through the generous donations of our alumni.

As we exit the fog of the last couple years, scholastic rowing is rapidly changing and we are working hard to keep up and support our athletes. Once again, we are asking for a monetary donation of your choosing to take part in the alumni row. This year, proceeds will go towards the purchase four new sets of C2 sculling oars ($2700). Naming rights are available for those interested in purchasing one oar or a set of two.

• Rowers will stuff envelopes for the spring mailer (bumper stickers & bottle/can drive).
